The gardening year begins and ends in yellow in my garden. Our woods, mostly tulip poplars, turns golden behind the house:
The back woodland garden is yellow as well:
Because it has been so warm here - we haven't yet had a hard frost - even the hostas are yellow:
Tomorrow we are hosting the feast. The yellow won't last long, but isn't it glorious while it does?
